This year, we will facilitated two Standalone Trainings with our Coordinators. These sessions' materials are located below.

Training Description: Strengthening your Core

This is a train the trainer session for the MTSS district/charter coordinator to use in district-wide implementation. Core instruction is the instruction all students receive every day in academic, behavior, and social-emotional skills. Effective core instruction results in the majority of students reaching grade level standards and expectations with core alone. This session presents four strategies which, when implemented with fidelity, will strengthen your core to impact achievement for all.
Coordinators will reflect on how they might facilitate conversation with their district/charter teams to define core support structures. Additional examples of defined core will be provided. The session will allow the coordinator to plan for training and coaching with their teams.

Training Description: Data-Evaluation

The Data-evaluation standalone is a train the trainer session for the MTSS district/charter coordinator to use in charter/district-wide implementation. This workshop will facilitate discussion around data accessibility, implementation data and student data needed to implement MTSS. In order to engage in the effective use of data, school/district staff need to understand and have access to data sources that address the purposes of assessment. Procedures and protocols for administering assessments and data use allow school staff to use student data to make educational decisions. In addition to student data, data on the fidelity of implementation allows district/school leadership to examine the current practices and make changes for improving MTSS implementation.

Coordinators will reflect on how they might facilitate conversation concerning data-evaluation with their district/charter teams and have time to plan for training and coaching within their district/school.
