Professional Development provided by staf from a North Carolina middle school on the structures and processes for successful implementation of MTSS. This school has been designated a high growth school and most recently received recognition as an Exemplar PBIS School. MTSS Pilot School 2011-2015.

EC Supports within an MTSS Framework: With the shift in the structure of how schools conduct business utilizing an MTSS framework, it is vitally important to build common language and understanding to ensure students with disabilities continue to receive specially designed instruction in addition to appropriate tiered supports. This session will provide participants with an understanding of the 6 critical components of MTSS with a focus on the involvement of EC staff that provides collaborative supports for students with disabilities throughout the tiers.
